Supporting individuals with disabilities is a highly rewarding role that requires dedication and compassion.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients who require dementia care, high care needs, and challenging behaviors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting participants in Supported Independent Living on a 24/7 basis
* Providing tailored and effective supports to meet individual needs
* Working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver quality services
To be successful in this role, the candidate must:
* Have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Support Worker or similar role
* Hold current CPR and First Aid certification
* Be in possession of an NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) and Working with Childrens Check (Blue Card)
* Display genuine passion and desire to support people with disabilities
* Exhibit reliability, honesty, and organizational skills
Desirable qualifications include Individual Support or equivalent certification.
We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus superannuation. KM's are reimbursed for travelling with clients on shift, and we provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
