* Manage workers compensation claims, injury management and return-to-work programs, ensuring legislative compliance
Training & Engagement
* Oversee WHS training frameworks including safety inductions, high-risk work, emergency response and leadership safety training
* Deliver practical, task-based toolbox talks and coaching
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
* Prepare and present WHS performance reports, trends and improvement initiatives to senior leadership
* Liaise with regulators, insurers and external consultants as required
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety (Diploma minimum; Degree preferred)
* Proven WHS leadership experience in
marine, composites, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
* Strong working knowledge of QLD WHS legislation and high-risk work environments
* Practical, approachable and not afraid to get hands-on and muck in when required
* Comfortable being visible on the floor and engaging directly with teams
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence and support leaders at all levels
