We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Glasshouse Technician to join our dynamic team.

About the Role
As a Farm Technician, you will support the planning, delivery and execution of field productions that underpin our breeding and research programs. Working closely with experienced team members, you'll be involved in planting, maintaining and harvesting trials, operating modern equipment, and ensuring samples are handled, cleaned and packed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the planting, spraying, harvesting and general maintenance of field trials.
* Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and equipment.
* Support sample handling, cleaning, packing and logistics.
* Assist with crop spraying in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to the smooth day-to-day delivery of field operations.
* Maintain a strong focus on Work Health & Safety (WHS) at all times.
* Work collaboratively with the wider field and research teams.
Skills & Experience
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
* Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a field environment.
* Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
* Experience with agricultural machinery and equipment.
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
* Availability to work additional hours during peak seasonal periods.
* Hold a valid automatic driver's licence as a minimum requirement.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Heavy vehicle driver's licence, or willingness to obtain.
* Australian Chemical Users Permit.
* Mechanical or fabrication aptitude.
* Further education or training in agriculture.
