Speedway Australia is looking for a Sports Governance & Compliance Officer to ensure our competitions and stakeholders adhere to the highest standards of governance and compliance—all while working from home. In this role, you'll:
* Draft, review, and update rules, regulations, and policies for the sport.
* Provide clear guidance on rulebook enquiries and compliance matters.
* Collaborate with the Safety Committee and stewards to uphold best practice.
* Develop and deliver training on governance and compliance.
* Manage the process for reporting and resolving infringements.
What you'll bring:
* Knowledge of governance, compliance, and policy development.
* Experience drafting rules, regulations, or policies (preferred).
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to interpret and apply rules and standards.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to integrity.
* A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant professional experience is required for this position.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
