Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin's attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Ecommerce Executive to join our E-commerce department on a Full time, permanent basis. The role will be based at our Sydney office, with a hybrid element for those looking for more flexibility.
Build a sense of 'Team Operations' across all existing 'vertical' teams.-
Qualifications & Experience:
**Essential**
- In-depth knowledge of Windows internal workings, such as registry, permissions, services and management.
- Proven track record in problem solving, within a medium to large enterprise environment.
- A general understanding of networking technologies.
- Ability to demonstrate an awareness of, and prior experience in, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, procedures and methodologies.
- Minimum of five years' experience in an IT support role.
- Previous experience in the use of IT Help Desk tools, ideally ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to articulate complex ideas in succinct business terms.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, interacting well with people who have different work styles and cultures.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a proven ability to complete assignments with speed, accuracy, attention to detail and quality.
- Effective use of collaborative tools, including Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal use of the English language.
**Desirable**
- Experience in using SQL as a query language.
- ITIL Foundation certified.
- Experience in working within a PCI environment.
**Other**
- Travel is possible, sometimes overseas, in line with business needs.
- Attendance at the monthly Application Support Team Meeting in-person is required (usually at Merlin Technical Hub, Chertsey)
- This is a hybrid role with the expectation of at least 3 out of 5 days based at a Merlin Office or Attraction.
- Flexibility around working hours will be expected, with a requirement to work weekends, bank holidays and evenings/early mornings as necessary.
- An active involvement in the out of hours on-call rota is required.
- Full driving licence and access to transport is required.
