Production Engineer - Key Responsibilities
The Production Engineer will be responsible for the safe delivery of production in their respective region, serving as a technical mentor to fellow engineers and acting as a focal point for all production engineering technical queries. The incumbent will oversee over 300 wells, gathering, and compression facilities, contributing to short-term production and surveillance activities in accordance with industry standards.
This position is part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team within an integrated collaborative environment focused on optimizing production and costs across the Surat basin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and analyze daily production data from wells and gathering systems;
2. Provide daily support to field operations and act as an interface between office and field teams;
3. Optimize and track FBHP levels;
4. Update and monitor well production trends and discuss remedial actions with optimization leads, production technology, engineering, and field teams;
5. Develop and maintain close working relationships across the organization;
6. Provide technical support during technology trials;
7. Ensure adherence to HSSE risk assessments and operational processes;
8. Lead by example with a strong commitment to values, safety, and environmental standards.
Skills & Requirements:
* Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion;
* Engineering degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or related discipline;
* Experience in a technical role such as Production Operations, Well Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Technology, or Reservoir Engineering is advantageous;
* High commitment to safety and environment;

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
* Proven coaching and influencing skills.
