What You’ll Do
- Build, manage and close your own pipeline of companies that you believe will benefit from the dbt Cloud offering
- Manage and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts, optimizing impact
- Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to expand reach in the region
- Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process
- Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap
- Focus on building and managing pipeline generation
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into a consultative sale
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong diligence and organizational skills to navigate long, intricate sales cycles
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- Inclusive teammate and community involvement mindset
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-source software
- Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt

Compensation
We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience, including salary, equity, and where applicable, performance-based pay. Typical starting salary range for this role is AUD 192,000–300,000 (OTE). Our Talent Acquisition Team can answer questions around total rewards during your interview process.
