**About the Role**

Arts, heritage and Libraries branch is responsible for all internal and external Council communications, marketing and media. The focus for the branch is to continually build on Council's reputation within and beyond the region, and support the organisation in implementing strategies that will ensure it achieves its vision.

The position is responsible for strategic marketing for initiatives of the Sunshine Coast Arts Plan 2018-2038 and Arts & Heritage Levy including coordination of people, processes and data, development of strategies and financial management, with a focus on ArtsCoast destination branding and audience development.

Key duties include:

- Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives of the Sunshine Coast Arts Plan 2018-2038 (SCAP) and Arts & Heritage Levy
- Oversee the development and implementation of brand guidelines and collateral, the roll out of usage (internal and external) and campaigns to promote the ArtsCoast destination brand in a consumer and an investment incentive capacity.
- Work with Visit Sunshine Coast to ensure the ArtsCoast brand is promoted and supported.
- Oversee the development and implementation of strategies in Audience Development and Participation in respect to arts experiences across the region.
- Contribute to strategic and coordinated collaboration between the Gallery, Horizon and Creative Arts teams' marketing including processes, assets and resources, such as databases, statistics, platforms and internal marketing services.
- Work collaboratively within the Arts, Heritage and Libraries Branch to ensure integrated marketing strategies that effectively support programs, events and activities.

**About you**

You will posess qualifications in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or other relevant discipline

You have demonstrated substantial experience in an equivalent role within a large organisation, preferably within the political arts arena

You are experienced working autonomously and delivering to ageed timelines.
