Are you a highly skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter with leadership experience looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team at one of Queensland's largest coal mines.

As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will lead and support maintenance crews, supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across various mining equipment, and foster a positive work environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Providing day-to-day guidance and support to a team of diesel fitters and maintenance personnel
">
* Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities across Cat, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr mining equipment
">
* Carrying out preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on heavy mining equipment when required
">
* Fostering a positive, team-focused culture by mentoring and developing crew members
">
* Ensuring compliance with site safety standards, procedures, and reporting requirements
">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

* Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Fitting Trade Certificate (or equivalent)
">
* Proven leading hand/supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and support maintenance crews
">
* Current G1, G8, G9 (S1, S2, S3) and G2 certificates
">

The mine is located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Moranbah. It offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a strong focus on safety and productivity.
