Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and horticulture-savvy professional to fill the role of Gardening Operations Specialist on a full-time basis. This position is responsible for performing merchandising tasks at various stores, assisting with duties in the nursery such as preparing and watering plants, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Merchandising tasks at multiple store locations, ensuring that all products are attractively displayed and well-maintained.
* Nursery duties including plant preparation, watering, and maintenance, to ensure healthy and thriving plants.
* Providing excellent customer service and interaction, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
This role requires physical labor and involves flexible hours, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation being essential for this position. The successful candidate will be part of a family-owned business in Southern Tasmania that values teamwork and continuous learning.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in gardening or horticulture, with a strong understanding of plant care and management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
