Transcript Typist - Eye Specialist
Marsden Eye Specialists is a well-respected Ophthalmology practice with rooms in Parramatta, Penrith, and Castle Hill.
We are currently seeking an Audio Transcript Typist to join our Parramatta team onsite, working within a friendly and supportive team workplace.
You will be providing medical audio typing for the surgeons and doctors within the practice, including general correspondence, operation reports, medical reports etc.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Ensure all transcripts are delivered within required timeframes and in accordance with required formats
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of transcription styles and workflow systems
Focus on quality and accuracy
Willingness to learn and develop your Ophthalmic knowledge
Participate in ad-hoc projects
Essential Pre-Requisites:
Typing speed minimum of 55 wpm
Previous audio dictation experience
Excellent English vocabulary and grammar
Exceptional hearing and comprehension
Outstanding attention to detail is essential
Computer literate
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
Training will be given to the right applicant.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
