Quantitative Software Engineer
Role Overview
APAC Electronic Options Trading Technology is a team seeking a Software Engineer. The role involves working with Quantitative Research and Trading to rapidly iterate and deliver trading signals, tools and strategies used by the Options trading desk across APAC markets.
This technology role requires close collaboration between quant studies and trading domains. A proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing client/server applications using Python as a primary development language is required. Projects will be taken through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release, and collaboration will occur closely with core development/engineering teams as well as quants and traders on various aspects of quantitative analysis, trading strategy and signal development.

Collaboration: You will partner closely with our Trading, Quantitative Researchers, Infrastructure and Strategy Developer Teams to develop and manage scalable and highly performant systems to support trading in the region.

* 3-5+ years of experience in software development in an object-oriented (OO) language such as Python, C#, Java or C++
* 2+ years in backend systems level development in Python. Experience with C++ is a plus
* Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
* Eagerness to learn about both the business and technology aspects of trading
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
* Knowledge of financial markets and derivatives products
