We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our busy workshop in Yatala. This is a hands-on role within a well-established, family-owned transport business with a strong focus on fleet reliability and compliance.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our heavy vehicle fleet, ensuring all vehicles remain compliant and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
* Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
* Diagnostics and mechanical repairs
* Breakdown response and fault finding
* Accurate maintenance record keeping in line with NHVR Maintenance Accreditation requirements
About You
* Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic
* Proven experience working on prime movers and trailers
* Experience with Kenworth, Mack, Freightliner, Western Star, Iveco and Scania
* Strong understanding of heavy vehicle compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Reliable team player with a positive attitude
