The Position
Our client has a great opportunity for a Gastroenterologist to join the unit on a Full Time basis.
The Hospital
With more than 3500 staff and covering an area a quarter the size of Victoria, the hospital has over 650 beds which treats over 42,000 in-patients, attends to 50,000 emergency cases, and delivers approximately 1400 babies each year. It also features a 20-bed intensive care unit, an 80-bed integrated psychiatry facility, and 11 operating theatres where almost 13,000 surgical procedures are performed annually.

Located just under 2 hours from Melbourne, this is one of the beautiful and well-developed regional cities in Australia, known for its vibrant arts scene and flourishing food and wine culture, set against a backdrop of rich history, grand architecture, and magnificent gardens. Visitors can sample stunning contemporary cuisine in historic buildings, admire modern art in various venues, and explore the city's fascinating history at museums, gardens, and galleries.
The Requirements
1. Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Gastroenterology.
2. On RACP training program.
3. Hold the FRACP qualification.
4. IMGs eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ.
5. IMGs with an RACP interview date.
6. IMGs assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
