Are you passionate about providing compassionate care? We are looking for reliable and motivated Assistant in Nursing casual staff to join our Nursing / Midwifery team at Elliston MPS. About the Role
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will support our Enrolled and Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with daily living activities and basic nursing duties.
* Providing person-centered care to our patients/clients.
* Performing routine technical support functions, including setting up for nursing procedures and managing local stock levels.
* Maintaining effective communication within our multidisciplinary healthcare team.
What We're Looking For
* Current enrolment in an undergraduate nursing or midwifery program (2nd or 3rd year) or completion of training relevant to the safe and competent performance of nursing duties or a Certificate III or IV in Basic Health Care, Aged Care, Health Services Assistance, Home and Community Care, Individual Support Work, or other approved health-related qualifications.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* A collaborative spirit to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
