About the Role:
Perilya is seeking an experienced Shaft & Infrastructure Tradesperson to join our Shaft & Infrastructure team. This is a key role supporting the safe, reliable operation of our underground mine. If you're a skilled tradesperson who thrives in a hands‑on environment and enjoys varied, technically challenging work, this is an excellent opportunity.
In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining critical underground fixed infrastructure and shaft systems. Your work will directly support production targets and ensure the safe operation of hoisting and dewatering systems.
Duties Include:
• Maintain and repair underground fixed plant, including crushers, rockbreakers, dewatering pumps, loading stations, and structural steel.
• Carry out shaft maintenance, including work on skips, cages, and associated infrastructure.
• Respond to operational requirements to ensure equipment reliability and prevent delays or flooding.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and team‑focused work environment.
About You:
You're a proactive tradesperson with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety. You enjoy working underground and take pride in keeping critical systems running smoothly.
Preferred qualifications include:
• RB Basic Rigging
• Working at Heights
• Forklift Ticket
• Confined Space
• Trade Certificate in Fitting (Boilermaker applicants will also be considered)
