Part-Time Seamstress/Sales assistant Wanted – Pebble and Poppet
Do you love sewing beautiful garments with care and intention? Are you passionate about slow fashion, quality craftsmanship, and creating pieces that are gentle on little ones and their mums?
Pebble and Poppet is looking for a skilled part-time seamstress to join our small, creative team.
Hours:
* Tuesdays: 11am–3pm
* Thursdays: 11am–3pm
About the role:
You'll be working on our thoughtfully designed garments, crafted from organic cotton and bamboo fabrics. Our pieces celebrate Australian flora and fauna and are made locally in Melbourne with love and attention to detail. You will also need sales skills for this role as well. As your timer will be spent sewing and serving throughout the day.
What we're looking for:
* Strong sewing skills and experience with garment construction
* Confidence using industrial or domestic sewing machines
* A high level of attention to detail and pride in your work
* Reliability and the ability to work independently
* An appreciation for ethical, small-batch production
* Sales skills
Experience sewing baby and children's garments is highly regarded. Past sales experience is also necessary
