Description
Exciting opportunity within a leading Federal Government Agency to oversee software development projects, write optimized code and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.

The successful Software Developers will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Designing, building, integrating, delivering and documenting software capability that meets business requirements.
- Escalating issues and seeking advice from team leader or project manager in a timely manner.
- Documenting technical processes in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and promoting bi-directional knowledge transfer within a team setting.
The successful Software Developers will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in development languages/frameworks such as Python, Java, RESTful web services, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Demonstrated experience using Puppet, Ansible and Docker automation tools
- Enhancing and supporting automation capabilities for existing systems
This is a great opportunity with a leading Federal Government Agency to join an established and friendly team. The successful Software Developers will be offered a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions.
