Bridge strategic goals with on-the-ground execution to enhance efficiency, build capability, and embed sustainable performance.ResponsibilitiesLead the deployment of the Thales Industrial Operating Model (TIOM) across the businessDrive Lean transformation, providing coaching, training, and expert guidance to teams and stakeholdersChampion a culture of continuous improvement through performance measurement systems and cost analysisSupport senior leaders through Gemba walks, data-driven decision-making, and operational insightOversee HSE compliance, business continuity (BCM), sustainability, and emissions reduction initiativesCoordinate key industrial planning activities including S&OP, budget cycles (MYB, SBP), and Chorus PMD processesRepresent customer interests within the ICC, with a focus on satisfaction and value creationEnsure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to national certifications and regulatory readinessYour ExperienceMust have proven experience in industrial operations, performance improvement, or lean leadership within a complex, matrixed environmentStrong knowledge of industrial operations elements across supply chain, process engineering, lean, digital and industrial architectureRoutine extensive experience and use of ERPStrong knowledge of industrial/supply chain IT & use of dashboards (analysis, decision support)Understanding of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, Gemba Walks, Compass Room, PDCA)Strong understanding of HSE standards, sustainability frameworks, and industrial planningAbility to lead national initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teamsA mindset for innovation, transformation, and customer-centric deliveryRelevant tertiary education and APICS CPIM or CSCP certification at minimum (or equivalent professional experience)Good to KnowA Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.Additional information on clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) website.
