About the role
Provide mental health support to clients through assessment, counselling and case management. Work within a multidisciplinary team and report to a senior leader while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties
* Deliver evidence-based counselling and risk assessment
* Develop care plans and maintain client records
* Review progress and adjust treatment plans
* Liaise with families and external providers
* Attend case reviews and clinical supervision
Qualifications
* Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Occupational Therapist / Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, OR
* Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW) on commencement, OR
* A Masters-level counselling qualification and registration with PACFA as a Registered Clinical Counsellor or with ACA at Level 3 or Level 4.
Skills & experience
* AHPRA registration or AASW / PACFA / ACA membership
* Experience in trauma-informed client care
* Strong assessment and risk management capability
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to manage complex client needs
