Lead ICT Physical Security Specialist – TSPV | High-Impact Project Step into a pivotal EL1-level role leading physical ICT security for a major, mission-critical mobility program supporting senior government officials.
As the Lead ICT Physical Security Specialist, you'll shape T-SCIF policy and design, guide governance and assurance activities, and provide expert advice on secure ICT environments that underpin modern mobility solutions – all within a high-security, national-interest setting in Canberra.
Location Canberra, ACT – Onsite only (no WFH or interstate applicants) Contract Details Contract Duration: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extensions Security Clearance Requirement: Current TSPV Essential Tasks Provide specialist advice on constructing and administering deployed ICT systems within Temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (T-SCIFs).
Identify vulnerabilities and develop physical ICT security planning solutions, contributing to policy governing T-SCIF design and construction.
Review site plans and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with key Australian Government security frameworks (e.g. ISM, PSPF, ASHS, DSPF).
Prepare and maintain security documentation and SOPs (such as Item Movement Security Plans), incorporating feedback from ICT Security Advisors and IRAP Assessors.
Key Criteria Strong background in ICT physical security governance, with experience contributing to and advising on governance frameworks within complex organisations.
Demonstrated expertise in information assurance, applying security policies and standards to manage physical ICT risks in high-security environments.
Proven ability to plan, organise and conduct physical assurance and accreditation activities across complex, cross-functional ICT domains.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to work with senior stakeholders, security advisers and assessors to develop policies, standards and guidelines.
