Role Description
The Restaurant, Weddings & Event Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in Byron Bay, NSW. Responsibilities include planning and managing weddings, corporate events, and special occasions, as well as ensuring a premium dining experience within the restaurant. Daily tasks involve coordinating event logistics, liaising with clients, overseeing event execution, managing bookings, and collaborating with staff to maintain exceptional service quality. The coordinator will also support sales efforts to promote the venue for events and dining.
Qualifications
* Event Planning and Event Management experience to organize and execute events seamlessly.
* Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients and guests effectively.
* Proven Sales skills to promote the venue and build relationships with prospective clients.
* Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly to changes.
* Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
* Tertiary qualifications in hospitality, event management, or a related field are a plus.
