Job Summary: The Marketing and Student Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing strategies to attract and retain students, as well as providing support services to students to enhance their learning experience. This position will work closely with the vocational education team, including instructors and administration, to ensure effective delivery of marketing and student support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain students for vocational education programs.
Manage the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and social media content, to promote vocational education programs and courses.
Coordinate and participate in events, such as open houses and job fairs, to promote vocational education programs and courses.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in vocational education and adjust marketing strategies as necessary.
Work with instructors and administration to gather feedback from current and former students to improve the marketing strategy.
Provide support services to students, such as academic advising, tutoring, and career services, to enhance their learning experience.
Collaborate with instructors and administration to develop and implement student retention strategies.
Maintain accurate records of marketing and student support activities and report on outcomes to management.
Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of trends and best practices in vocational education marketing and student support services.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Education or related field (desired but not mandatory).
Experience in marketing and student support services in vocational education preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Work Environment:
This position typically works in an office environment with occasional travel to off-site locations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
