About The Opportunity
This is for a casual position with availability to work within maternity, birthing and antenatal services, with 24/7 availability.

The Undergraduate assistant in midwifery will work alongside registered midwives attending to cares including; personal hygiene, mobilisation, assisting with infant cares, observations, mothercrafting education and general ward duties that fall within their scope of practice, whilst always ensuring they maintain regular communication with women in a caring and therapeutic manner. Additionally, in attending to their duties, the AIM must contribute towards clear communication between members of the health care team to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

To Be Eligible, Applicants Must

* Be enrolled as a 2nd year Bachelor of Midwifery student in 2025.
* Have successfully completed at least two semesters with a satisfactory academic record.
* Have completed a minimum of two undergraduate clinical placements.
