This well-known Not for Profit has a vacancy for procurement manager to assist them in their mission of high-quality support in the aged and disability care sector. As a newly formed role, this presents an opportunity to use your procurement skills and knowledge in the implementation of procurement processes and procedures.
Your new role
In this position, you will be responsible for the development, management and continuous improvement of procurement services and contract management procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the strategic direction of procurement and contract management
- Monitor supplier performance
- Development and delivery of procurement plans
- Provision of advice and support in contract development and management
- Review and development of supplier arrangements
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with supply partners
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will have proven capabilities strategic procurement plan development and implementation. Core skills would include:
- Excellent supplier relationship, negotiation and liaison skills
- Proven capability in procurement tendering, market analysis and contract negotiation and management
- A passion for the aged and disability care sector
