With a strong focus on person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care, BRAMS delivers services that are designed around the needs of Aboriginal individuals and families. Their multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively to improve health outcomes and promote wellbeing across the lifespan.

BRAMS is seeking a full-time Quality, Risk & Governance Coordinator, based in Broome, WA, to lead organisation-wide quality, risk, governance, and accreditation systems in partnership with the CEO, Executive, and Senior Leaders. This role plays a key part in embedding BRAMS' Quality Care Framework, which reflects their commitment to safe, person-centred, culturally responsive care.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

* Coordinating internal audits, quality systems (LOGIQC), document control and improvement registers
* Leading preparation for accreditation across RACGP, NSQHS, Aged Care, NDIS, ISO9001 and similar standards
* Managing and reporting on the organisational Risk Register and compliance obligations
* Supporting Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives organisation-wide
* Engaging with consumers and analysing feedback to guide service improvements
* Developing organisation-wide dashboards using integrated performance data
* Educating and mentoring staff on compliance, audit readiness, and governance frameworks
* Advising the CEO and Executive on quality risks, trends, and performance insights

Internally known as the Quality and Safety Officer, this senior role offers a unique opportunity to shape care delivery standards through clinical governance, continuous improvement, and compliance with a clear focus on health and aged care services, not occupational or workplace safety.

Is This You?

We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in quality, governance, accreditation, or compliance, ideally in health, aged care, disability, or community services. You may not hold a formal qualification, and that's okay - we value practical expertise.

You'll ideally bring:

* Experience with at least one accreditation framework (e.g. NSQHS, RACGP, NDIS, Aged Care Standards, ISO9001)
* Familiarity with quality assurance systems and continuous improvement methods
* The ability to interpret data, incidents, and feedback to drive change
* A collaborative, systems-thinking approach to embedding governance practices
* Confidence in supporting executive decision-making through quality reporting

Desirable (but not essential):

* Qualifications in quality management, governance, or health administration
* Experience working with Aboriginal health organisations or culturally responsive frameworks

As our ideal candidate, you're independent, detail-focused and capable of working across teams. You have strong communication skills, and you're passionate about quality care, risk mitigation, and improving outcomes in community-driven health settings.

What's in It for You

BRAMS offers a competitive salary of $105,000 – $120,000 + Super, along with a supportive and inclusive work environment and a host of generous benefits, including:

* 6 weeks of Annual Leave to support work-life balance
* $1,300 Annual Remote Area Allowance
* Salary packaging to maximise take-home pay
* Study leave and access to ongoing professional development
* Free access to primary health, dental, and allied health services through BRAMS
* A meaningful role in one of Australia's most culturally rich and visually stunning regions
