* Competitive Salary: $84,659 - $92,701 pa (plus superannuation and leave loading)
* Temporary Full-Time up to 12 months (possibility of extension or conversion to ongoing)

About us
Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.
About the role
Undertake high level administration and some file work on a range of family law matters including: brief preparation for counsel, briefing letters to experts, administration of subpoena and material produced, preparation and co-ordination of a range of family law documents, legal research and the provision of high level assistance in offices across the State.
About you
You are an organised and proactive paralegal who is passionate about improving access to justice for communities experiencing hardship. You thrive in a fast‑paced legal environment and are confident managing high‑volume administrative and file‑related tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. You communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, solicitors, courts and external agencies, and you remain calm and professional when supporting individuals who may be distressed. You are skilled in legal research and have an interest in supporting solicitors provide high‑quality support across Family and Care and Protection Law.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
* be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
* hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
* Some roles may require the ability for remote travel
