RSPCA WA is seeking an exceptional Senior Manager – Marketing & Communications to lead our brand, marketing, and communications strategy during an exciting time of growth and transformation. This newly created role will shape and deliver insight-driven campaigns that inspire action, deepen supporter engagement, and strengthen RSPCA WA’s presence as a trusted voice for animal welfare.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will lead a high-performing team and oversee integrated marketing campaigns that drive fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement outcomes. You’ll work closely with RSPCA Australia and interstate counterparts to amplify national messaging and maximise the impact of shared initiatives.
This role is both strategic and hands-on – ideal for a passionate leader with strong commercial acumen, creativity, and a heart for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies across fundraising, advocacy, and community programs.
Build and protect RSPCA WA’s brand, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
Oversee storytelling-driven campaigns that engage, convert, and retain supporters.
Manage digital and traditional marketing platforms including website, social media, email, and advertising.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns and communications.
Analyse performance data to inform decisions and optimise ROI.
Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and a culture of excellence across the team.

You’ll Bring
Proven success in a senior marketing or communications role, ideally in the not-for-profit, social impact, or fundraising sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
Deep understanding of brand strategy, campaign development, supporter journeys, and behavioural insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and audience engagement.
Confidence using digital tools and platforms to drive engagement and action.
Experience working in a federated or national organisation is a plus.
A genuine connection to the mission and values of RSPCA WA.
