An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our busy Medical Imaging Clerical Team based at Ipswich Hospital. We currently have a full time (37.5hr) post, working pattern will be over a 12 week rota, covering 7 days per week, 8am to 8pm. Hours to be discussed at interview. This post is fixed term until 31st March 2026.
Responsibilities
* Cover reception duties and modality booking desks
* Deal with referrals and booking patient appointments on the Computerised Radiology Information System (CRIS)
* Deal with telephone enquiries from patients, GPs and the wider MDT team
* Scanning, filing, emailing and photocopying
Requirements / Qualifications
* Assist in providing an efficient, high quality reception/clerical support service to Medical Imaging
* Polite telephone manner and approachable with patients and the general public
* Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines with excellent organisational skills
* Work on own initiative with attention to detail and confident and accurate IT skills
* Ideally previous experience in a similar environment within an NHS setting, knowledge of hospital booking systems, Lorenzo and CRIS would be advantageous
