Role Overview
As a Caravan Technician, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and repair of caravans, handling both mechanical and electrical issues. Your expertise will help us ensure that every caravan we service is in top condition and ready for the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in caravans, including body and cladding repairs, suspension systems, and more.
- Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair 12-volt electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and diagnostic systems.
- Caravan Repairs: Conduct repairs and maintenance on various caravan components and systems.
- Insurance Work: Perform repairs as per insurance claims, ensuring all work meets industry standards and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Key Requirements
- Mechanical Minded/Service Work: Proven experience in mechanical service work, ideally with a background in automotive or caravan repairs.
- Caravan Repairs & Insurance Work: Experience with caravan repairs and handling insurance-related work.
- Fork Lift License (Preferable): While not essential, a fork lift license would be advantageous.
