Your new role: This is the perfect opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in credit, accounts receivable, or administration who’s eager to learn and grow. Joining a hardworking and supportive team, you’ll work closely with our Regional Credit Manager, learning the ropes of managing a ledger, building customer relationships, and supporting the accounts receivable function. We’ll provide the training – you bring your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. What you’ll be doing: Assist with maintaining the General Ledger Support debtor account collections for our branch network Help with allocating account payments and reconciling customer accounts Process credit card payments and manage basic account enquiries Provide general admin support including data entry and email management Answer inbound and outbound calls to support stores and customers Learn and apply company policies and procedures (e.g., SPI’s) About us: AWM form part of the MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM) family, with over 400 stores and 4,000 staff nationwide. For more information, visit: https://mmem.com.au/ What we’re looking for: Credit Experience : Ideally, demonstrate a background in Credit or Accounts Receivable, with a track record of managing financial tasks efficiently. Tech-Savvy : Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, to support day-to-day operations. Strong Communication Skills : Confident in engaging with the business via phone and email, with a professional and approachable demeanour. Detail-Oriented & Organised : Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating strong attention to detail and excellent time management. Customer-Centric Approach : Exceptional negotiation skills and a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Team Player: Comfortable working within a collaborative team environment, understanding that customer service is at the heart of everything we do. Eligibility : Must have full Australian working rights; no temporary visas or sponsorship will be considered.
