You'll be hands-on in budgeting and forecasting cycles, consolidations, business performance reporting, and influencing strategic decision making.You'll also be a key contributor to the global implementation of Anaplan, helping transition our FP&A processes from Excel to a modern, scalable planning role suits someone analytical, collaborative, and curious — someone who wants to make a real commercial impact in a fast-moving global retail environment.What You'll Be DoingFinancial Planning & ReportingCoordinate and consolidate monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and 3-year strategic plans across global regions.Perform variance analysis and provide insights on performance vs budgets, forecasts and actuals.Identify and resolve inconsistencies in regional submissions.Prepare weekly sales reporting for Direct-to-Consumer channels globally.Partner with Group FP&A to test and validate financial planning models in Anaplan.Support the transition from Excel-based budgeting to Anaplan.Ensure consistency of assumptions, exchange rates, and accounting treatment across all regions.Deliver ad hoc commercial analysis to support critical business decisions.Commercial Performance & Business PartneringDevelop clear, timely and accurate business performance reports.Build strong relationships with key business leaders to ensure insights translate into action.Provide data and analysis used for KMD Brands investor identify commercial opportunities and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.Budgeting & ForecastingMaintain and update financial planning models in line with planning cycles.Prepare budget templates, inputs and and schedule budgeting sessions with key stakeholders.Provide in-depth analysis to support leaders in understanding risks and opportunities.What You BringTertiary qualification in Business, Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA preferred).3+ years commercial experience in FP&A, financial analysis or similar.Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.Experience with planning, BI or integrated accounting systems.Retail or consumer goods experience highly beneficial.High attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy.Strong communication skills and ability to partner across functions.Strong analytical mindset and ability to solve problems independently.High integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.Solid understanding of double entry accounting.Who You AreA collaborative team player who:builds strong relationshipscommunicates effectivelythrives in fast-paced environmentsis resilient, curious, accountable and customer‐focusedlives Rip Curl's principles, values and commitment to people and planetDiversity, Inclusion & Belonging at KMD BrandsAt KMD Brands, we believe that diversity makes us stronger.
