The position involves conducting research and performing analysis to aid in the execution of assessment projects for significant government and departmental endeavours. These projects are mainly carried out in-house, with a team comprising research and evaluation analysts, as well as data analysts. The analysis work will likely comprise quantitative examination of outcome and survey data, as well as qualitative evaluation of stakeholder interviews and group discussions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with quantitative and qualitative analyses of educational data (eg, custom surveys, national and international surveys, administrative data, interview transcripts) to implement evaluation plans for major and high-profile Government and departmental initiatives.
- Build collaborative and productive relationships with team members working on projects to achieve agreed evaluation outcomes.
- Source, collate and compile data and information to contribute to the preparation of high-quality evaluation reports to ensure they meet the standard required for peer-reviewed publications.
- Assist in providing responsive, accurate and timely advice on evaluation projects and research proposals to a range of audiences to facilitate their completion to the standard required.
**You will have**:
- Completion of higher education in applied social sciences or a quantitative field, such as economics, psychology, or sociology, and/or appropriate professional background.
- Familiarity with and dedication to the Aboriginal education policies of the organization.
- A Working with Children Check for compensated employment.
