Senior Coordinator, Programs and Activation
Western Sydney University is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Programs and Activation. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity until 31 December 2027, based at the Bradfield AMRF Building. Travel to other campuses may be required. Closing date: 11:59pm, Thursday 9 October 2025.
The Opportunity
You’ll design and deliver high‑impact engagement programs that connect industry, government, research and the community with AMRF Connect’s spaces and initiatives. You’ll help bring the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility (AMRF) Connect to life in collaboration with AMRF Connect, the Bradfield Development Authority and the wider university ecosystem. Your work will support business scale‑up, events, campaigns and communications to grow the region’s innovation ecosystem.
Note: This is a fixed-term role; remuneration is HEW Level 8 with a package described below.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver programs that support business growth and connect students, start‑ups, industry and community.
- Plan and lead events, campaigns and initiatives to promote AMRF Connect and activate the Bradfield precinct.
- Create engaging content and marketing materials, including social media and digital communications.
- Track and report on the performance of campaigns and engagement activities.
- Build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration.
- Manage member systems to ensure smooth enquiry handling and programme uptake.
- Share explicit, evidence‑based updates on engagement outcomes with senior stakeholders.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a strategic and creative professional with a post‑graduate qualification and a strong track record in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and communications. You’re capable of managing relationships, translating complex ideas into compelling content, and delivering high‑impact campaigns across digital platforms. Experience developing externally focused campaigns and events for diverse audiences is preferred. You should have strong organisational, leadership and project management skills and be able to plan and deliver events, activations and long‑term engagement strategies. You’re a clear communicator, able to work independently and collaboratively, and comfortable navigating diverse stakeholder environments.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Remuneration: HEW Level 8, $138,029 to $153,227 p.a. (comprising Salary of $116,636 to $129,479 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
