SMART Business Solutions (Main Street Mornington) are looking for a full-time Loan Processor to join our award-winning Accounting, Financial Planning & Mortgage Team.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Administration experience required
This role is suited to either:
* An experienced Loan Processor, or
* A strong administration professional looking to step into the lending space
Loan processing or mortgage experience is highly regarded but not essential. Full training and mentoring will be provided for the right candidate.
About the Role
Working closely with our Mortgage Brokers, you’ll support clients from loan application through to settlement while managing day-to-day loan administration. You’ll liaise with banks, solicitors, accountants and internal teams, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.
This role suits someone who is organised, proactive, detail-driven and excited to learn.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing loan applications from submission through to settlement
* Preparing loan documentation and compliance paperwork
* Liaising with banks, lenders, solicitors and third parties
* Client communication and ongoing loan support
* Monitoring workflows, tasks and deadlines
* Data entry, electronic file management and reporting
* Supporting process improvements, automations and task templates
* Annual review of existing client loans
* Lending role is to support our existing client base
About You
* Loan processing / mortgage or banking experience (highly regarded but not essential)
* Minimum 2 years’ administration experience (essential)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator (phone & email)
* IT-savvy and quick to learn new systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Australian work rights (required)
