Job Description:
Purpose
To lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and fit-for-purpose data solutions that integrate SAP SuccessFactors (as the HR system of record) with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (as the enterprise data warehouse), enabling advanced analytics, operational reporting, and compliance across the Talent & Culture (T&C) domain.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design for HR Data Products
2. Lead the Solution Design stage to determine the optimal platform for delivery-e.g., SuccessFactors Report Centre, GCP (BigQuery/Tableau), or hybrid-based on data availability, latency, and user need.
3. Define data integration patterns between SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Qualtrics, and GCP, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
4. Platform Governance & Guardrails
5. Co-own and evolve solution design guardrails with Analytics team and Tech to fast-track delivery while maintaining consistency and compliance.
6. Ensure adherence to release management cycles, ADF controls, and audit requirements, especially for privileged access and metric computation in GCP.
7. Engineering Leadership
8. Lead a chapter of engineers focused on data engineering, cloud architecture, and analytics enablement.
9. Promote adoption of Golden Path patterns and Golden Pipelines to standardize C/CD and enforce engineering maturity across squads.
10. Cross-Functional Collaboration
11. Partner with Product Owners, Analysts, and Analytics team to translate business needs into technical user stories and data models that support HR metrics, dashboards, and compliance reporting.
12. Act as a bridge between HR domain experts and cloud engineers, ensuring that data solutions are both technically sound and business-relevant.
