Reporting to the Civil Works Supervisor and based at the Shire of Murray Operations Centre in Pinjarra, you will be responsible for the safe operation of Shire plant and equipment and ensuring maintenance is performed to a high standard.
A positive attitude towards teamwork is essential for the role, as you will work closely in a team completing job tasks at various locations throughout the Shire on a daily basis.
Key Duties
Undertake the safe operation of plant and equipment.
Provide further support with maintenance/construction projects, survey requirements or manuallabouring tasks as directed.
Undertake the placing and spacing of road traffic signage according to Australian Standards where required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Practical knowledge and experience applicable to civil works construction and maintenance operations
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the safe operation and user maintenance of multiple plant and machinery and associated minor equipment and materials
Sound interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card)
Traffic Management accreditation and Doggers and Riggers qualifications will be highly regarded
