We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Asset Engineer to provide asset management support and leadership within our Strategic Asset Management team focused programs across our Treatment Plant portfolio.
Success in this role will see you develop and support asset management strategy, maintenance programs, capital renewals programs, and provide asset management and technical / engineering expertise across the water treatment plant and water reclamation plant asset groups.
You'll collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to deliver improved asset performance across the full lifecycle. Thinking critically and strategically about asset design and operation, the priority of maintenance and renewal works, and the role will see you take decisive action.
Adept at problem solving, this key role will identify and implement improvements to current process and practices, leveraging industry networks and technical expertise to support a commitment for innovation and best for business outcomes.

About you
As the Senior Asset Engineer, you will be courageous and knowledgeable, blending expertise with an innovative approach to problem solving; you will engaged by improving asset performance.
Exhibiting excellent communication skills, you build strong relationships with partners and people to deliver common goals for asset management. You will be confident working with cross-functional teams and bringing influence in your area of specialisation.
With strong attention to detail, your organisational skills will enable you to support multiple projects. Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, your practical experience will be underpinned by your chemical or mechanical engineering qualifications.
