Training Officer
* Permanent Full time opportunity with weekday shifts based in Argenton
* Generous remuneration based on experience

About the role:
Reporting through to the Regional Manager, we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Newcastle Mines Rescue team in this challenging face-to-face training role.
Key responsibilities include:
* Emergency response, including fulfilling Standby duties
* Deliver, and assess training courses, in alignment with RTO standards and requirements
* Uphold an excellent standard of station maintenance and housekeeping
* Conduct emergency response training and other training on site and at the station
* Be an advocate for safety and demonstrate behaviours aligned to safety
* Seek to develop and support a positive, engaged, high performing culture
About you:
Your education, experience and skills will include:
* Emergency response knowledge (essential)
* Availability to work Monday to Friday
* Current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or previous version (desirable)
* Experience delivering face to face training
* Mines Rescue Brigade Qualification or Emergency Response Training Experience (desirable)
* Current First Aid qualifications (desirable)
* Intermediate level of competence in Microsoft Office Suite
* Underground coal mine experience (desirable)
