The Opportunity
We're seeking a proven operational executive to lead our SA/WA/NT portfolio as General Manager, Operations, reporting to our Chief Operating Officer. You'll set the performance pace for a diverse, multisite business, translating strategy into outstanding operational delivery, commercial growth and exceptional community outcomes.
You'll role model our CLEAR values, build trusted client partnerships, and develop future leaders who consistently deliver results.
What you will lead
A geographically dispersed, multisite operation across SA/WA/NT, spanning aquatics, leisure, holiday parks, wellness and community programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion Belgravia's purpose and goals, strengthening community connection to leisure through safe, inclusive, high‐quality experiences.
* Build trusted, long‐term relationships with council and institutional partners; deliver on commitments and create shared value.
* Drive Profit and Loss performance across the portfolio: revenue growth, margin discipline, cashflow reliability and capital planning.
* Lead innovation and new business development – identify opportunities, shape winning proposals and scale what works.
* Grow high performing, values‐led teams; set clear expectations, coach hard and celebrate success.
* Ensure excellence in risk, safety, compliance and governance across all sites.
* Embed evidence‐based decision making – use data to prioritise, course‐correct and communicate outcomes to the executive and board.
* Ensure each contract reflects and responds to the unique needs, identity and priorities of its local community – delivering outcomes that honour the character of every location.
About You
Proven executive operator in multisite service environments (leisure, sport, tourism, community services or analogous sectors).
Commercially sharp with strong financial acumen; you set high standards, act with urgency and deliver results at pace.
Strategic thinker and practical executor – you turn plans into performance and continuously lift the bar.
Influential relationship builder – credible with clients, councils, partners and your teams.
People developer – recognised for building leaders and succession; you coach, empower and hold to account.
Excellent communicator; adept at simplifying complex issues for diverse audiences (internal and external).
