Our WA Government client is seeking to engage an Internal Communications Officer on a 3-month contract basis, Part Time Position. Possibility of extension.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Manager People & Culture in the development, implementation and coordination of the City's internal communications strategies, activities and initiatives, ensuring they are aligned to organisational priorities
- Create and standardise internal communications including sourcing, researching, writing, designing, editing and distributing high quality and engaging communications/promotional material for different audiences across arrange of communication channels, inclusive of print and digital.
- Execute strategic and project / campaign related internal communications and promotions
- Monitor feedback and comments on the City's internal communications platforms and adjust content accordingly
- Provide advice and support to officers who develop internal communications
**Key Capabilities**
- Previous relevant experience working at a similar level with developing and implementing internal organisational communication plans and strategies.
- Highly developed written communication skills and styles, including the ability to write and edit material suitable for diverse target audiences in a simple and concise style.
- Highly developed attention to detail ensuring messages and published content is accurate and professional.
- Highly developed interpersonal, conflict resolution and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and groups both inside and outside the organisation, to ensure delivery of a high level of customer service
- Ability to work effectively under mínimal supervision and as part of a team
- Possession of, or the ability to acquire, a satisfactory National Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the last twelve months).
