Maintenance Technician Mechanical
Genuity Services Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to join our team in Millmerran, QLD.
As a full-time member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our mining equipment and facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our mining operations and develop your career in the Mining, Resources & Energy industry.
You'll play a key role in maintaining two 435MW units and associated auxiliary plant.
Your work will ensure maximum plant availability and reliability while upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, repair, maintenance, testing, modification, and commissioning of mechanical plant and equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance and fault-finding to achieve plant performance targets.
Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders and maintenance planning.
Assist in developing and improving maintenance procedures and plans.
Support station teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
What We're Looking For
Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation and emergency response procedures.
Ability to read technical drawings and prepare risk assessments.
Experience using CMMS for work order management.
Additional trade certificates or associate diploma.
Experience with power station plant (boilers, turbines, PF milling, water treatment).
Skills in welding, rigging, or scaffolding.
