Business Development Professional
We seek an experienced professional to lead business growth and development initiatives. This role is pivotal in identifying and securing new opportunities across defence and commercial maritime markets.
This position supports the expansion of our maintenance, overhaul, repair and upgrade business, generating work for our delivery centres globally.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years' experience in maritime sustainment, ship repair or lifecycle support business development and a strong understanding of defence and commercial sustainment frameworks.
* Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities for maritime sustainment and maintenance, overhaul, repair and upgrade programs.
* Drive revenue growth through Austal's sustainment facilities.
* Maintain a robust opportunity pipeline aligned with our operational capacity and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sustainment and Growth:
• Identify and secure new sustainment and maintenance opportunities
• Develop and execute growth strategies for our sustainment business
Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business development initiatives with company goals
• Effectively communicate business development opportunities and outcomes to senior management
