OverviewPortxGroup Australia is expanding its Container Crane Maintenance team and we're looking for experienced Electrical Technicians to join us.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance repairs and modifications on Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes (RMG), Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (RTG), Spreaders and other plant and equipmentPerform regular maintenance inspections of cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipmentRebuild, replace or repair major equipment components, assemblies and systemsMaintain and update records of work performed on equipment in order to track service historyCorrect unsafe conditions and housekeeping problems in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediatelyOperate tools, equipment and machinery according to prescribed safety proceduresFollow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job dutiesRespond to work request in a timely manner as per assigned KPIsAbout youElectricians must have the ability to read and understand electrical drawings (control circuits) as well as experience on PLC and invertersStrong communication skills (written and verbal)A desire to learn and be trained for potential opportunities to work on international projectsMust be available to work overtime and travel to customer sites if requiredElectricians with Spreader experience will be prioritisedLocations: Footscray, MelbournePortxGroup offers an attractive work environment together with market-competitive salary package and an opportunity to train and work on international projects.Application questionsWhich of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
