The investment team is looking to add an Investment Analyst to work across Australian and global equities within LSF and GLSF.

Job Summary
We are looking for an analyst who is passionate about equity markets, enjoys the intellectual challenge of investment research and is deeply curious on how businesses operate. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in long/short investing.

Candidates should have at least 4 years of professional experience in sell-side research, investment banking or funds management.
The Role
The Analyst's key role is to develop deep subject matter expertise across two to three sectors. The role involves both generating new investment ideas and conducting ongoing research on existing portfolio positions.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Meeting regularly with company management, industry participants and relevant experts.
2. Travelling to meet with company management teams and competitors.
3. Analysing, synthesising and clearly communicating research insights to portfolio managers.
4. Building, maintaining and refining valuation and financial models.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience will be viewed favourably:
1. Relevant Investment experience (sell-side research, investment banking or funds management).
2. Existing knowledge of public market sectors relevant to the role.
3. Undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in accounting, finance or related disciplines.
Remuneration
Compensation will be competitive with the market and structured as a base salary plus discretionary, uncapped bonus, aligned with performance.
