**Our client**
Our client is a global technical recruiter with staff of over 100, and offices in the UK (Midlands, London, Leeds, Doncaster), Dublin, Canada with others to come, and the current focus, to re-launch Sydney - everything is here, the database, brand, corporate services support, money in the bank, even the laptops, they just need their Director and to find an office in Sydney or Melbourne.
**The role**
The role is to breathe life into what is a great brand and to build a sizeable, sustainable business. Focused on rail, infrastructure, power, civil engineering, construction and telcos, it is to build a team, leverage a vast array of offshore client relationships and great engaged local brands and grow the Australian business.
**Who you will be**
You will be a hands-on recruitment leader able to bill but more-so able to lead. You will have experience in at least one of the client's markets, know the local market, be a confident business developer but also a people leader - someone who can train rookies but can also inspire experienced hires. You'll be able to build teams, focus on profitability in your first year, enjoy offshore support but be independent, and be the type of person that just gets on and tries things so having a pro-active approach - you'll look at this business as if you are running your own.
