You will be responsible for identifying compelling moments from provided podcast sources and editing them into visually engaging clips that capture attention within the first few seconds.
The role requires a keen sense of pacing, storytelling, and the ability to align each edit with the host's unique tone and branding.
You'll work directly with the founder, enjoy creative freedom, and contribute to a growing portfolio of business, health, and lifestyle podcasts.
Fast turnaround is essential, with most projects expected within ***** hours.

Deliverables
Select and edit engaging moments from long-form podcast episodes into short-form clips (3–10 per episode)
Add dynamic captions, subtle motion graphics, B-roll, and brand elements (logos, colors)
Ensure all edits are visually captivating, modern, and consistent with the host's aesthetic
Deliver projects within ***** hours of assignment
Collaborate directly with the founder for feedback and creative direction
Provide paid test clips as part of the onboarding process
Requirements
Proven experience editing short-form video content, ideally for podcasts or talking-head formats
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement
Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Ability to add motion graphics, captions, and branded elements
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Reliable, efficient, and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Creative mindset with a passion for digital content and social media trends
