As a key regional referral centre, it is supported by a multidisciplinary team of Emergency Physicians, Registrars, junior doctors, and nursing staff, with strong links to pre-hospital and specialist services. Accredited by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM), the department fosters a strong culture of education, mentorship, and professional development.Position The role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based emergency care across the full clinical spectrum. You will manage patients independently, supervise junior staff, and contribute to education, clinical governance, and service improvement. The position offers opportunities to lead or participate in initiatives such as trauma system development, simulation training, digital health innovation, and rural outreach. Ongoing support for continuing education, research, and dual training pathways—such as with Anaesthetics or Intensive Care—is available.
