We are seeking a skilled Marketing Events Assistant to support our team in various aspects of event planning, marketing, and sales. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be organized, and detail-oriented.
Job Description:
This part-time role involves assisting with the planning and coordination of events such as Craft Utopia, Creativeworld, and local store visits & classes. The successful candidate will prepare displays, catalogues, order forms and packs, and provide on-site event support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with event planning, coordination, and execution.
* Prepare visual displays, materials, and supports for events.
* Support key sales periods like Black Friday and seasonal promotions.
* Build relationships with independent retailers and assist with wholesale launches.
* Help create and schedule content across social media platforms.
* Assist with product photography, short video creation, and campaign ideas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Confident communicator with strong sales skills.
* Organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Experience with design tools like Canva or similar software.
* Social media savvy, with an eye for creating engaging content.
* Flexible to travel for events and work extra hours during busy periods.
* Previous experience in events, sales, or marketing highly desirable.
