Disability Support Professional

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care assistance, household support, and social and emotional support to clients in their homes or community settings. This may include:
* Assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Helping with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
* Performing light housekeeping tasks
* Accompanying clients to medical appointments, recreational activities, or social outings
* Providing transportation services
* Supporting clients with medication management
* Documenting client information and progress
* Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV or higher in Disability Support, Community Services, or related field
* A minimum of 1 year experience working in disability support
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina to perform duties required
* Current First Aid Certificate and Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
